Setting Up and Working with Repositories

The Repositories feature in MDVisual lets you connect to and manage specific repositories within your MDOpen environment.

After establishing your MDOpen connection, you can view available repositories by clicking the icon next to the MDVisual node in the MDOpen Explorer Panel on the left sidebar. This opens a list of repository options in the views panel.

To work within a repository, select it from the list by clicking the icon. The repository’s name will then display beside the MDVisual node, confirming that you’re working in the correct workspace context.

Tip

Choosing a repository ensures all data and panels—such as Programs, Objects, Functions, and Metrics—are filtered so you see only content related to that repository.

Once a repository is selected, you can:

  • Browse programs and modules categorized by type.
  • Visualize relationships between components through call charts and metrics.
  • Access and manage functions, hidden items, and additional details specific to your current repository selection.
